On-Going Needs at Launch Ministry

These models are wearing new outfits donated by individuals like you!

We are often asked what is needed to provide hospitality at the drop-in center and stretch the meager budgets of the young adults trying to be financially and socially independent.  Thank you for your continued support!  Below is our on-going needs list.

Items we are always in need of: full-sized shampoo, good razors, shaving cream, mascara, men’s deodorant, bottles of water, food storage/take-out containers, cleaning supplies, smaller sized laundry detergent, and Easy Mac.

Are you, your group, or organization interested in doing an item collection for us?  Click here for more information.

A note about clothing:  We are blessed by receiving amazing selection of items for individuals to choose from.  We ask that all items not obviously created for 18-29 year olds be donated directly to Blessed Bee at the corner of Chaska Blvd. and Audubon.  With the opening of Goodwill (which has minimal outreach in the community), donations at Blessed Bee has decreased.  Blessed Bee‘s entire purpose is to serve those in the community, and directly benefits the individuals who serve Launch through gas and grocery cards purchased from the profits of their sales.

  1. Hello, who can I talk to about looking into your ministry, Launch? I am the local outreach director of City Hill Church in Eden Prairie. I’m always looking for “hands on” mobilization of our membership to help those in need. We are currently working with IN Love, Word & Deed, a homeless ministry in downtown Mpls. I’d like someone to call me so we can chat and I can learn more about your ministry/organization. Are you a Christian based ministry/organization? Thank you, Kurt Ullrich.

    • Hi Kurt! This is Corey, director of Launch Ministry. We’d love to get connected with you (and have a number of friends who have been part of City Hill currently and in the past). If our volunteer coordinator Stephanie hasn’t contacted you yet, she will soon. Looking forward to figuring out how to partner together!

      Corey
